Turning Dreams into Degrees
This course will help caregivers, including STRTP staff and resource families, to understand how to support the youth in their care to make a smooth transition from high school to college. Caregivers will learn about the benefits of college and the different pathways available to better support youth in making a plan. Caregivers will also learn about the key steps youth must take in their junior and senior year of high school, and the supports and resources that exist to help youth along the way.
Trainer Materials
Trainer’s Guide: This guide is intended to assist trainers in successfully facilitating the Turning Dreams into Degrees Education Course 2. The guide summarizes key learning objectives for each section, provides additional background information and ideas for facilitation across various modalities. The guide concludes with a list of suggested readings for those looking to further deepen their knowledge on this topic. (Updated April 2024)

Webinar – Turning Dreams into Degrees Train the Trainer Updates, April 2024: This one-hour training provides course updates made to both Education Course 1 and Education Course 2 in 2024. This training is designed for returning trainers to learn about recent updates made to the curricula, such as legislative and policy updates and course materials.
