This coalition was formed in 2024 to protect foster youth in the 2024-25 state budget after the Newsom Administration proposed the elimination of two vital housing support programs for current and former foster youth: The $13.7 million Housing Navigation & Maintenance Program and the $18.8 million Supervised Independent Living Placement (SILP) Housing Supplement.
