Serena Bracy is an Animal Science and Management Major with a Minor in Education, in her 4th year at UC Davis. With firsthand experience navigating the child welfare system and newfound passion in policy, she is committed to amplifying the voices of foster youth and expand access to higher education resources.
Serena intends to drive systemic change by supporting legislative efforts that strengthen opportunities for youth with socioeconomic disadvantages. She advocates to bridge the gap between foster youth and higher education by fostering perseverance and shedding light on equitable opportunities to transform their dreams into long-term success. Outside of JBAY Advocacy, She is enjoying life with her bright orange cat, Pumpkin, who brings her extra joy to her busy days.
