Jasmine Amons is the Senior Development and Grants Manager with John Burton Advocates for Youth (JBAY), where she supports fundraising efforts in furtherance of JBAY’s mission to improve the quality of life for foster youth and young people experiencing homelessness.
For the last ten years, Jasmine has worked to support young people and families impacted by the foster care and juvenile justice systems. Most recently, Jasmine served as a Senior Grants and Policy Analyst with the San Francisco Juvenile Probation Department, where she supported the department’s implementation of statewide and federal policy reforms. Jasmine also worked as the Senior Program and Policy Manager for the National Center for Youth Law and as the Grants and Development Manager at Rose Foundation for Communities and the Environment. Jasmine is an alum of several leadership development programs, including New Leaders Council – San Francisco and the Women’s Foundation California’s Solis Policy Institute.
Jasmine holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Italian Studies from the University of California, Berkeley
