Izel Casillas

Izel Casillas is a first year at the University of California, Davis. She is studying Environmental Policy with the goal of becoming an Environmental Lawyer. She is a part of the Guardian Scholars program at Davis, as well as the Investing in the Success of Foster Youth (ISF) program.

She is passionate about working with JBAY and helping foster youth because she has lived experience of what foster youth go through. She hopes to advocate for foster youths’ mental health and advocate for education.

Izel is interested in everything outdoors from hiking, rock climbing, and snowboarding. Her hobbies only motivate her further in becoming an Environmental Lawyer.
