Taxes 101 Workshop Curriculum

This PowerPoint slide deck provides a “taxes 101” curriculum for young adults currently or formerly in foster care, focused on teaching young adults about filing taxes, with the goal of assisting them with accessing the Foster Youth Tax Credit.

It is designed for programs that provide workshops to this population, including Independent Living Programs, campus support programs, and community-based providers. It is intended for the fall season to help prepare youth to file the following tax season.
