OYC Impact Report

JBAY is part of the Los Angeles Opportunity Youth Collaborative, a multi-sector partnership to improve education and employment outcomes for transition age youth in LA County. As part of the OYC, JBAY leads the work to improve post-secondary access and success. This report highlights its impact in 2020. 

The OYC has three main campaigns: Foster Youth at Work, OYC Young Leaders and the Foster Youth College Advancement Project (FYCAP). These three campaigns utilize a collective impact approach to improve the systems designed to support TAY. FYCAP, convened by JBAY, was launched in 2017 to improve post-secondary access and success for transition age foster youth, whether it be career and technical education or a 2-year or 4-year degree.
