For four consecutive years California has included one-time funding in the state budget to address homelessness, with a portion of the funding set aside to address homelessness among youth.

  • 2019-20 and 2020-21: $650 million and $300 million was administered as the Homeless Housing, Assistance and Prevention (HHAP) program to Continuums of Care, counties the state’s 13 largest cities with an 8% youth set-aside.
  • 2021-22: The state budget included a $2 billion HHAP appropriation across two years, with a 10% youth set-aside.

This roster contains all of the local organizations that were funded through their CoC, county or city with HEAP and/or HHAP funding to provide services to youth experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
