Introducing JBAY’s New Website and Branding

Introducing JBAY’s New Website and Branding

You are reading this blog on the new and improved website for John Burton Advocates for Youth (JBAY). After listening to clients and supporters, JBAY has completely redesigned its website to improve the appearance and functionality, while also revamping its brand with fresh colors and a new logo, which are designed to work with JBAY’s ever-expanding use of social media.

“JBAY is a leading resource for many different audiences: foster and homeless youth, service providers and social workers, and opinion-formers and policymakers,” said Amy Lemley, JBAY’s executive director. “Our new website makes it easier for all of these audiences to see the latest news and access a wealth of resources and expertise. Just as importantly, the website centers the youth we serve, including individual profiles highlighting some amazing personal journeys.”

The new website better integrates many features such as JBAY’s videos and news blog, which will now feature prominently on the home page. The new resource library makes it easier and faster to search and sort through more than a decade’s worth of resources, including publications, webinars, and toolkits.

JBAY’s work has always focused on advocacy and the new website makes it easier than ever for supporters to join JBAY in advocating for legislative initiatives that help youth who have been in foster care or experienced homelessness. The new advocacy page provides short summaries of each campaign JBAY is actively working on, with quick click resources, including fact sheets, support letter templates, and recent media coverage.

JBAY will be constantly updating its website with new helpful resources, stories, and opportunities for advocacy. These updates will be shared through the weekly policy focused newsletter and the monthly supporter newsletter, as well as daily social media updates. JBAY would like to thank the Tipping Point Community for their generous contribution that assisted in making this new website possible.
