Roesella Wilhem attends American River College and is planning on graduating in 2024 with her associate’s degree in funeral directory. She is a former foster youth and has always been passionate about making a change for youth. In her free time, she’s either occupied with her fur baby dwarf hamster or in San Francisco somewhere, living her life to the fullest. Roesella isn’t afraid to lend a helping hand and is very determined to make a difference; she wants a better life for foster youth and is set on making that happen someday.
John Burton Advocates for Youth improves the quality of life for youth in California who have been in foster care or homeless by advocating for better laws, training communities to strengthen local practices and conducting research to inform policy solutions.
