Tuition Waiver Programs for Students with Experience in Foster Care: Policy and Practice Recommendations

This publication, prepared in partnership with the Fostering Academic Achievement Nationwide (FAAN) Network and Education Reach for Texans, provides an overview of the landscape of tuition waivers and scholarship prorgrams that target foster youth. The document highlights findings from an analysis of the tuition waiver program in Texas and makes recommendations for how states can create or update tuition waiver programs to have maximum impact.
