L.A. Opportunity Youth Collaborative 2022 Impact Report

JBAY is part of the Los Angeles Opportunity Youth Collaborative (OYC), a multi-sector partnership to improve education and employment outcomes for transition age foster youth (TAY) in LA County. The OYC has three main campaigns: Foster Youth at Work, OYC Young Leaders and the Foster Youth College Advancement Project (FYCAP).

As part of the OYC, JBAY leads the FYCAP work to improve postsecondary access and success for transition age foster youth, whether it be career and technical education or a 2-year or 4-year degree. These three campaigns utilize a collective impact approach to improve the systems designed to support TAY. This report highlights its impact in 2022.
