A new study shows that only 11% of California’s foster youth have an AA or BA by the age of 23. This curriculum was developed by JBAY, UNITE-LA, and LA County’s Foster & Kinship Care Education Program to train caregivers to better support foster youth to enroll and succeed in college.
Course 2 will focus on ensuring a smooth transition from high school to college for youth in 11th and 12th grade. Additionally, trainers attending these webinars will learn how to provide interactive activities to attendees throughout the course in both virtual and in-person settings.
This course is a train-the-trainer webinar for individuals who plan to train caregivers, including resource parents, STRTP or FFA staff.
