JBAY Director of Housing and Health Simone Tureck Lee will be among a panel of advocates who will share information about how newly available funding and laws will assist children, youth and families impacted by the child welfare system. She will share information about JBAY’s 2023 policy and budget victories, including increasing housing affordability for older youth in foster care, new funding to address youth homelessness, increased college affordability for foster youth and financial aid reform to promote degree attainment and prevent homelessness.
