How does the pandemic impact expectant and parenting foster youth? How much does preparing for a baby really cost? In fact, the average cost to meet basic health and safety standards before childbirth is at least $2,000. It is our collective responsibility to ensure our foster youth have what they need for safe and healthy futures – for them and their babies. Healthy Futures for Foster Youth (AB 366) will support expectant and parenting youth to meet these and other needs.
Join us to learn more about AB 366 and the needs of youth in foster care on May 5, 2021 from 11-12:00 p.m. For more information about the bill, click here.
