Jeffrey Lee is the Development Associate at John Burton Advocates for Youth. Born and raised in San Francisco, he interned at several local nonprofits while in school, promoting issues such as environmental conservation, education, and mental health. He is passionate about shifting power and resources toward historically marginalized communities. With his prior experience, he is excited to help advocate for youth experiencing foster care and homelessness in this role.
Jeffrey received a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Community & Regional Development from the University of California, Davis.
John Burton Advocates for Youth improves the quality of life for youth in California who have been in foster care or homeless by advocating for better laws, training communities to strengthen local practices and conducting research to inform policy solutions.
